Daylapse ("the App") is a one-second-a-day video diary. We handle as little personal data as possible. This policy explains what information the App processes and how.

Summary

• No sign-up, no login. We don't create accounts.
• Your videos, photos, and all entries are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers.
• The only data that leaves your device is what's needed to process your subscription (RevenueCat & Apple).
• No analytics, no advertising, no tracking. We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).

1. Information stored on your device

Your one-second clips, any photos/videos you add, categories, notes, and dates are all stored in your device's local storage and are not transmitted anywhere. They are removed when you delete the App.

2. Permissions

• Camera — to record your one-second clip of the day.
• Microphone — to capture sound together with your video.
• Photo Library — to pick photos/videos to add, or to save videos you create.
• Notifications — local reminders at a time you choose so you don't forget to record. These are not remote push.

Media accessed through these permissions stays on your device and is not collected by us.

3. Purchases & subscriptions

Daylapse Pro is processed through Apple's in-app purchases and RevenueCat (a subscription-management service). This involves purchase records and an anonymous app user identifier (a random ID) that is not linked to your name, email, or phone number. See the RevenueCat and Apple privacy policies for details.

4. Third parties & tracking

We do not sell your data and do not track you for advertising or analytics. Other than the payment processing in Section 3, we do not share your information with third parties.
